We live in a small community with limited resources and activities that students can engage in. It is the job of teachers in this area to make their subjects come alive for the students. The school is a Title I school with a high rate of economically challenged families. With limited resources and a small tax base, it is often challenging to help students actively engage with their learning and the application of what they learn to their every day lives.
