Next year I will be a new 5th grade teacher in Downtown Los Angeles. As a grad student, I am very limited in what I can provide my students on my own. The majority of my students come from socioeconomically disadvantaged families, and I want to provide them with whatever they need to be successful in school. I have included supplies for students to use in the classroom as well as decor to make the space homey and comfortable for my students. Another large part of my project is a printer to have easy access to print materials in my classroom.
