My classroom serves as Tier 3 behavior intervention. Students in my classroom have been through the 3 levels of behavior interventions set by our school district. Those students were unable to transition back into their core classes due to continued breaches of behavior expectations. The purpose of the Opportunity Classroom is to provide a structured environment to help students take responsibility for their behaviors and provide them with the skills that they will need to be successful when they are transitioned back to the traditional middle school setting.
