I am a high school Spanish teacher and sponsor of our campus clubs "La Raza" and "Folklórico". My students are passionate about celebrating and preserving their culture through dance and community. After school, they gather to practice, learn, and share the beauty of Mexican folklórico dance. They bring so much pride and joy to our school, but their opportunities are limited because we don’t have proper costumes. Why This Project Matters Costumes aren’t just clothing—they are a powerful symbol of identity, culture, and belonging. Unfortunately, we haven’t been given any funds to purchase these items, and that means our kids’ hard work often goes unseen or underrepresented. Your donation would ensure that our students don’t just perform—they belong.
