The last 9 years my students have put together a production of children's books on stage with assistance from the Clare High School drama teacher, Mrs. Beatty, and several of her high school theater students. The drawback has been the difficulty in hearing the students at times in such a big theater. Quality microphones would be very helpful for the 2nd graders. They put so much time into memorizing their lines and becoming the character that hearing the students becomes of great importance. The biggest obstacle has been having the appropriate microphones to help the students be heard in the audience. Therefore, we are asking for assistance so that students, parents, and teachers efforts can be appreciated by the audience.
