My students, who are mostly 3-5 years of age, are sweet and eager to learn, but they do not always have the access to materials to communicate. The students that I work with have communication disorders that do not allow them to express themselves. They have a variety of disabilities (developmental delay, Autism, language disorders, articulation disorders, disruption in motor planning, etc.) that hinder their ability to let us know their thoughts, they are not able to participate in classroom discussions, nor are they able to verbally interact with their peers.
