The materials I'm needing some help purchasing are for the school-wide prevention efforts I am coordinating in my middle and high schools. COVID-19 has greatly impacted all of our students, many of which do not have healthy coping strategies. This year, I will be a present figure in my school providing awareness activities and resources around Red Ribbon Week, Suicide Prevention Month, Self-Injury Awareness Day, and National Prevention Week, just to name a few. Substance abuse and stigma around mental health are critical issues in schools across the country, and my schools are no different. These items will allow me to engage with my 900+ students and get them the much-needed support they need.
