We are desperately in need of new kiln shelves for the kilns at our school. Currently, we have 4 operating kilns for 16 sections of Ceramics. With the addition of new kiln shelves, we will be able to fire the kiln more effectively, replacing 20-year-old shelves. New shelves would mean that we can cycle more students' ceramic projects through the kiln in a more timely manner. It would also mean that we can load each kiln with more ceramic work, increasing the productivity of the firings. Our current shelves for the kilns are about 20 years old and have fallen into disrepair. After so much use, some are cracked and pitted. They are definitely in need of replacement.
