Our school is located in the most northern part of Maine, in a very small town that lies along the U.S./ Canadian border. Over 85% of our children qualify for free or reduced lunch. Poverty is something our community deals with everyday. This county was hit particularly hard due to the economic downturn. Budget cuts have been hard and can take away from little extras that make school Fun. The families and students of this district are strong and share a common bond- the want for a fantastic education for the children of the county.
