Each of MY STUDENTS are the TOP 5 reasons we need to create a classroom library! Our classroom currently has a small shelf where a limited number of books can be stored and it is difficult to see the cover of the books. The poles keep falling down and it doesn't take much for our little ones to topple the entire stand. A larger and sturdier book display stand can store and display a wider range of books that will capture the interests of our students and get them excited about reading. Creating a comfortable and inviting reading environment is the first step to encouraging our students to pick up a book! Another important feature of our library would be appropriately sized and comfortable seating. I would like seating that is dedicated to our library, instead of continuing to pull chairs back and forth from our work tables. I know our little ones would love to sink into a beanbag and an exciting storybook!
