My students are 24 of the most wonderful ten and eleven years olds here in Kansas. Over half of them are from low-income families and do not speak English as a primary language. Making learning meaningful and able to connect for them is a challenge, but many have never seen art or been to an art museum before. These students have very little, but LOVE reading and constantly are looking for ways to connect to our world. We are a Title One building which specializes in English Language Learners.
