Art classes are 40 minutes each, with zero transition time between classes. With seven periods per day I have over 150 students come through my art room daily. We need printmaking supplies that are easy to use and quick to clean up so that supplies can be ready for the next class. Gelli pads will allow students to experience printmaking, using an easy technique that allows for easy changes and quick clean up. Being able to spend more time on art and less time on clean-up maximizes their time in the art room. I am a new art teacher and have inherited an art room with very few printmaking supplies. I would like my students to experience a variety of art projects. Gelli pads would expose my students to printmaking. My art budget does not allow me enough money for this sustainable project. Without the help of generous donors, students will not be able to have this printmaking experience. Please help me to get my students the supplies we need for a successful, well rounded art program.
