Our school is very diverse. The school demographic is 57% Hispanic, and our Black/Non-Hispanic population is at around 26%. My students are very bright. Every day, they amaze me with all that they know. They love telling stories. Like most children, they get very excited when we do fun, hands-on activities. They love creating and one of the best ways for them to express their creativity is through art. I try to incorporate art into the curriculum depending on what we are learning about for that week. Overall, I have a wonderful group of students who walk in every morning with a smile and eager to learn. I love what I do and I wouldn't trade it for anything else.
