Coming from a high poverty area doesn't hold these students back. Despite their challenges, the third graders at Pear Park consistently score as well (or better than!) their peers throughout our large school district. They are a diverse group of students, but they work and learn incredibly well together. They teach each other and encourage each other to do their personal best.
