Distance learning should not mean that kids are in front of their computers the whole time. My students would benefit from these math tools because it will allow them to follow our curriculum and build a better understanding of the math concepts being covered. They will be able to represent multiplication and division by building equal groups and arrays. They will also be able to measure distances, area, and perimeter with their rulers and tape measures. The individual clocks will also allow them to practice telling time and calculating elapsed time. Many of these math tools are also great because they can quickly show it in front of their camera for me to check their understanding. These manipulatives will help students continue to develop number sense at home and in the classroom. They are easy to use and clean. These tools have scaffolds to help them be successful during math lessons. An added bonus is that kids can use these tools to play games that could involve the whole family in math fun!
