I have always known that somehow I had to give back to my community. When I became a teacher it was not difficult to decide where I would teach,I we nt back to my roots I teach in a low income school located in the heart of the Mexican Community. I teach in a 5th grade bilingual classroom, where the majority of my students come from homes with very little formal education. Although I wish I could bring all the needed resources to my school, I find it impossible. In my classroom there is never a minute of boredom. The kids are highly active and involved in their learning, with your help, I will be able to bring art supplies, books,and technology into the classroom. When donors like yourself help out, you are making a world of a difference. Together we can make a difference on our children's lives.
