Hello, My name is Melissa Schmidt and I am a first year Early Childhood Special Education teacher at Banting Elementary School in Waukesha, WI. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with my degree in Dual Early Childhood Education. I work with students with special needs ages 4k-3rd grade. We have a 75% poverty rate at our school. This is the first year we have all day 4k at our school. I love my job and my students with my whole heart.
