The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them an exciting setting to implement their budding math skills. The Carolina Market and accessories will allow the scholars to explore a variety of math concepts. Counting, numbers, sorting, colors, and patterns are just a few of the early skills that can be developed through the dramatic play. It can also be effective in the progression to later skills including but not limited to pricing, money, addition, subtraction, and weighing objects. Scholars will build their math skills while using their imagination. Dramatic play itself is also shown to have benefits in early childhood development. Engaging in dramatic play will not be limited to academic benefits only. Dramatic play has been proven to influence other skills as well. Social/emotional, physical, cognitive, and language skills can benefit from the use of the store.
