I teach three 5th grade classes at Russell Byers Charter School in Philadelphia. The classes have named themselves The Unique Experts, Drip Squad, and The Goal Getters. Our students are primarily African American and come from all over the city if Philadelphia. They bring with them the desire to improve themselves through education.
