My students are in grades K-5. We are in a suburb of Las Vegas. This is a hard working class neighborhood. Due to the devastated Las Vegas economy, many students and their families are experiencing difficult times. Life is not the joy it once was in this city. In the library, I try to brighten their day! I encourage a love of reading. The students who read the most and work the hardest deserve recognition! I would like to brighten our walls with photos of our hard working students and photos of great books and book projects! Please help our school acquire a camera to make my wish come true:-)
