My class is made up of students from low income families, and our school accommodates these low income families by offering 100% free breakfast and lunch to the entire student body. My students have come to love reading in my class, because I make sure they have every opportunity to read. I read to them, they read with a partner, and they have silent time to read a personal book. I know they are enjoying their reading, because they can't wait to have that discussion time to talk about their books and what they have learned.

About my class
