My students are creative, curious, and full of energy. They come to class with a wide range of talents and perspectives, and they thrive when given opportunities to explore, make, and share. Many of them don’t always have access to the art supplies or resources they need outside of school, so our classroom becomes an important place for expression and discovery. They are eager to take on challenges, support each other, and find their voices through the arts. With the right tools and materials, my students are capable of producing work that surprises even themselves, and I feel lucky every day to help guide their artistic journeys.
