Providing uniforms when students don't have clean clothes available or when they cannot afford new clothing when they grow will provide these students the opportunity to be in school everyday. Sometimes our students miss school because they cannot get these items or they are too embarrassed to even tell us what the issue is. We have a washer and dryer to help keep the uniforms clean and accessible to our students on the daily basis. Our students know that our building is a safe place to go everyday and they know that they can come to school to get their needs met. This project will help us improve attendance and therefore improve academics!

About my class
