My class is currently using old laptops that often need to be repaired. Many of the keys are missing, and the computers often will not even turn on. My students need more current technology to access their educational programs such as iStation, Google Classroom, and Accelerated Reader. These programs help my students increase their academic learning on a daily basis. Within iStation, students are able to work on reading and math skills that are individualized to their needs and are reassessed monthly. Google Classroom is another tool which allows students to research, create, and collaborate to enhance their learning. Accelerated Reader allows students to build their reading comprehension and vocabulary.
