My students are creative and enthusiastic. They are the most hard working individuals who have a unparalleled desire to learn! They are highly self-motivated and engaged in their learning. The students in my classroom are always on the go. They have taken ownership in their learning and enjoy the knowledge they gain through the project based approach. They communicate and cooperate with each other. They work together and utilize each other's strengths to achieve their goals. They participate in a genius hour which allows them to work on passion projects for a portion of their school week. Several students worked to develop a presentation that described what they thought should be in a 21st century classroom. The students presented technology, furniture, and possible funding ideas to our school board, PTA, and administration!
