My classroom is full of energetic 6th graders. These students love to explore and learn new things. My students are 97% African American, 3% Hispanic and 100% free/reduced lunch. These students have many different learning styles. I work hard at finding different methods of instruction so all students have the opportunity to learn the way they learn best. Field trips are the most fun way to learn new things, however because of cost I have to be very particular and seek out ways to get free field trips. My students love to have a choice in how they learn new concepts and this helps them problem solve in real world situations.
