Gifted students have brains that think a little differently. Although classified as "gifted" they are all on different levels. It's my responsibility to meet them where they are, to ensure differentiated instruction that meets them where they can succeed best. This differentiation comes in many different forms. I teach two groups of students 3rd grade level science and 4th grade level math and writing. On a typical day in the classroom, you'll find groups of students working on different centers throughout the room. We're always questioning, researching, computing, building, learning, and staying in the struggle! These hard workers teach ME something new every day.
