I teach Mathematics at a school located on the south side of Chicago. Although many students live with grandparents, aunts and foster parents, they are eager to achieve. They are in 7th & 8th grade, living in a poor economic area. We do our best to buy the supplies they need on a day-to-day basis, but, as you know, it goes beyond just that.
