We have been gradually converting our classroom to a flexible seating environment where the students have a choice of where to sit when working on their daily assignments and projects. Now that we have that in place, we'd like to have a meeting place. I'd like to set aside a place in our classroom where we can meet as a whole group. This could be to discuss lessons, but could also be when we share things that are going on, or maybe reading a book together, visiting with our school counselor, making announcements, and other times when whole group discussions are needed. We need a place to come together as a team, and a meeting rug could give us that dedicated space to meet.
