My two schools truly are jewels. They are both tucked into the back of our county and pretty much forgotten. Although we struggle to get new technology, the teachers here make up for all that we may lack. The majority of students at these schools may be underprivileged, but that doesn't stop them. Since I have been with them I have seen them begin to embrace creativity, lose inhibitions, and TRY NEW THINGS. These kids were so reserved and cautious when I started with them and now they beg for more creative tools and materials to explore.
