Welcome to my music classroom! Our school is an arts integrated academy; inspiring academic excellence through arts integration. As a music teacher, I am in a unique position to expand my teaching beyond the music standards- I use music as a teaching and learning tool for all students in the classroom as well. Our school consists of about 530 students at a moderate poverty level in Arizona. Every student learns differently; the arts has helped tremendously to close achievement gaps and support every student. We are in a supportive community, but funds are lacking everywhere. We need your help to create engaging and collaborative learning experiences for our students. My goal as a music teacher is to provide opportunities for students to create, perform, respond, and connect. Thank you for your support and let's keep working to create positive experiences for all!
