My students would benefit and become better readers by having more informational text books in our classroom on hand to read during class and at home to practice reading with their parents. Reading informational text leveled books will improve their reading and comprehension skills. The books will assist my students with learning and understanding that the more they read, the more they learn. Informational text books will give my students experience of real world knowledge and understanding that books make learning come alive. My 21 first graders need these books to become lifelong learner and develop a love for reading.
