The materials I chose here will help fund the two most costly art programs coming to our school this year: Ceramics and Digital Art. Our students were requesting my Intro to Art classes so much that I had 30-40 kids per class! My administration saw the need for an expansion of our Art Program and decided to create an academy, offering 5 different art classes to students who were screaming for a place to express themselves and put their creative brains to work! With your help, I am honored to bring this unique variety of art classes to my students this year! Ceramics, Digital Art, 2D art, 3D art, and two Introduction to Art classes will be available for students to choose what interests them most or to take more than one! The tablets I'm asking for come with digital art software that will help students learn the world of digital drawing and animation, a very important and ever expanding genre in the art world today. The clay, glazes, and tools I have requested will help students learn about one of the most ancient art forms in the world, and learn all about the cultures that have been working with ceramics for thousands of years!
