My kids love to be the star of the show! Over the course of this school years students have used my personal tablet to illustrate and work through problems projected to the board from their seats. Allowing students access to a dedicated digital device they can use to show off their work not only fosters an environment of accountability, but also one of teamwork and collaboration. Students engagement increases, and they are suddenly all cheering each other on. Putting these devices, with a pen, in the hands of the student brings life to class. Students love to be the one to show their work and how they answered a problem.
