There are several apps that are available to help facilitate our "Online Learning Adventure." I am specifically excited about one where I will be able to use my iPad as a whiteboard and speak to my students as I write. This is especially important to my ELL and IEP students who are unable to read instructions well on their own. I was unable to update my personal iPad to download new apps -- it was 10 years old and very outdated. I purchased a new iPad with my personal funds, but would love to have assistance purchasing additional accessories so that it is ready and rearing to go for the show! The Apple Pencil will facilitate the writing portion, while the Magic Keyboard and Mouse will help the iPad work as closely to a computer for a fraction of the cost. All of these exciting new apps and efforts will so help accommodate the students' online learning, not only over the summer, but well into the school year! As a bonus, I can also use my old iPad as our classroom tablet. The smaller Apple Keyboard will be an essential addition as it will allow me to use that iPad at my podium so I can link additional apps to our Smartboard for a more interactive experience with the entire class.
