In our first grade class we work with low income students who strive for excellence on a daily basis. Financial struggles are constant daily concerns for our students and their families. We try to give our students the best in their learning experiences. The ability to use up to date equipment to move our students and their data in positive directions. New standards from state are forcing our students to use technology on a daily basis to move towards proficiency in skills of reading and math. These kids live in the inner city and I strive to give them my best as I know my parents send me their best. I am asking for help to continue to rise up for my kids. We know that when kids rise up, we all rise up.
