Since collaboration is the key to sharing, we collaborate a lot! My students currently have few seating options. We have chairs at desks, some stools at tables, but when students need flexibility, their only option right now is the floor or the few scoop chairs that we have. Flexible seating options allow students to have choice in their learning environment! These floor seats would allow them to sit on the floor comfortably to read or work together. Being comfortable and having choice in seating will enhance the students' learning environment, encouraging more time on task, leading to greater success in all areas of the curriculum.
