Welcome to my class. My students are wonderful, hardworking, students that live in a low socioeconomic locale in California. Even though they're up against many odds, they show up every day eager to learn and work. My students are still at an age where they are passionate about learning and curious about the world. Being from a poor community, many of my students do not have all the materials they need to be successful. Unfortunately, our school isn't able to provide them with those materials because of budget restrictions. Many of my students don't have the basic materials to be successful because of their families' financial restrictions. I believe that students can only succeed if they have the right tools. All of my students receive special education services. They also received speech, occupational therapy (OT) services. One very special quality my students have is their enthusiasm for learning.
