I teach various classes and two of them are in need of support. In my AP Chemistry class, I have a majority of girls who are very interested in science. The entire class is very bright and hard working. Despite their strong efforts, the class struggles to understand chemistry. They need hands-on experiments so that they can grasp the concepts better. Our inner-city high school is low on funds and we have to make do with the little we have. My other is an after school softball team. Girls who are picking up a softball for the first time what to join the team and I teach them how to play the game correctly. I also help experienced players become better. During the off-season everything is instructional and eventually the team will be formed for the season. High quality softball equipment is expensive and funding is scarce. Any help is always welcomed.
