The items will be used in the classroom, now that we have returned to in person learning. My student's have been unable to engage physically with learning materials during Covid-19 school closings. These materials are going to help them to actually touch materials and increase their focus and attention to the learning process. These materials will allow my special needs students to gain access to Nevada Academic Content Standards across multiple content areas. Items that have light or sound increase the student's curiosity and the learning process becomes FUN! I am hoping to remove screen time with learning materials that are just as engaging but tactile to increase sensory exploration.
