My students are in a huge need of dictionaries and thesauruses. My students are ELLs; therefore the necessity to expand their vocabulary is essential for them because it will help them get a better understanding of the meaning of words as well as expanding their vocabulary. Right now, my students only have 6 dictionaries available for a classroom of 28. This is an issue because I feel that this is somehow depriving them from learning because others are using the dictionaries. I've asked other teachers and grade levels, but they only have enough for their class. Now I'm seeking for help elsewhere.
