We have moved to a different school in the district! Last year I created a new section of third grade the GLC- Goodwin's Learning Community. Thanks to Donors Choose we were able to have new basic learning materials. This year our section is moving to a new building-the GLC2W!. We have limited grade level materials other than what the other sections of second grades are willing to share with our class. The students are COURAGEOUS! They come to school overcoming many challenges that occur in low social economic neighborhoods. They are TALENTED! Many of the students speak two languages, are artistic, are athletes and can sing and dance. We have limited space in after school programs to explore these talents so we incorporate our strengths and gifts into the curriculum. They are LOVING and KIND! I'm excited to work with the Donors Choose community to bring educational opportunities to our children at Warring School.
