The resources I chose will be used to build series and parallel electrical circuits. The Electricity Discovery Kit, bulbs, sockets, battery holders, and safety goggles will not only benefit the students for those experiments but for other experiments too. The had an opportunity to build a single circuit with a group of six students. With the new resources, students would work in pairs and have enough supplies to expand their experiment. The process of scientific discovery or experiments, stimulates students excitement to actively engage, collaborate with piers, and build self-confidence. They predict, identify materials, explain what they did and what happened, and analyze why it happened. Students learn to be careful of equipment, record details, and draw diagrams. Each experiment allows students to stretch their abilities by planning, evaluating, and communicating information. Supporting science for students is giving them a life long learning experience.
