Let my students read! As a second-year elementary school teacher, I am looking to expand my classroom library in an effort to make it print-rich. Reading is an activity that each of my students enjoys. From shared reading to following along to Esperanza Rising, my students are grateful for the opportunity to read. With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read independently at their own grade level. Each book in my library is picked with my students' needs and interests in mind. My students will be able to choose books and continue to enjoy their independent reading time. Also included in the project is a class pack of crayons.
