The Chromebooks will enhance our literacy centers. Each center has a daily sill. Centers are based on individual learning levels. The chrome books will be used for identifying letters and sounds, read along with online books, practice writing and reading sight words, typing and creating writing stories along with other endless possibilities. Using technology as a learning tool in their daily instruction will be invaluable, I can just imagine my little learners now! My students work very nicely in small groups, with a partner and independently, so the chrome books will be a perfect addition to our class. Most of my students have never worked on a computer before. Whenever I use my laptop for instruction, the children are always very excited and want to touch the keys and try to type. I would love to give them the gift of technology!
