My students and I need a new laminator for our media center. The current one we have destroys posters and projects on its bad days. It is 20+ years old. This is not good! By funding a new laminating machine for the media center our students can step into the 21st-century. Plus! My student assistants will be able to laminate on a new and safer machine. This is beneficial for my media center student assistants that need to learn the "behind the scenes" world of the media center. I will have a lesson in safety on using a laminator plus we will create samples which serves as the student grade. This will then allow my student staff the ability to do more work for our teachers in a shorter amount of time. It also serves as a valuable trade skill for the teacher assistants to apply in future jobs and careers. Who doesn't love that? I'm excited about the prospect of being able to do more for my teachers and students by having a reliable piece of technology. Thank you!
