History is the story of us! That is how I approach my classroom. Students don't just learn dates and names. They learn patterns in human behavior. They learn to challenge ideas. They learn to ask questions. They learn to have an opinion. They learn to speak up and have a voice. They learn to be citizens of a global world. With all the changes in public education, there still needs to be an emphasis on independent and critical thinking. The activities we complete in my world history courses encourage these skills. Help us support students to be active, reasoning contributors to our ever-changing world.
