For teachers, a reading corner in the classroom gives a platform where they can support and facilitate children to make meaning while reading. These materials will help my students have a comfortable place in my classroom. They will be able to use it as a calming or reading corner. Students will be encouraged to use flexible seating to help engage them in what they are learning. I am trying to create a more homey atmosphere for my students and help them enjoy their learning environment.
