I teach in a very large school and the technology does not always work the way it's meant to. This year I've had to modify lessons a number of times because of broken down or non-functioning projectors and smartboards. As a result, students haven't always benefited from a complete presentation of the day's materials. In a language classroom that relies heavily on videos and visuals, not having the proper equipment to project these prompts can be extremely detrimental to the learning. With this projector, I hope to always have a way to transmit the day's lesson to students without worry that they will miss out on a valuable part of the lesson because of broken equipment.
