I am a fun French teacher and I want to really motivate my students to love French and continue using it throughout their lives. One student who graduated told me that her high school life had been "grey, impersonal and boring" except for my class that had made her life in school "fun and enriching". Although my students think I am sometimes "silly" they also tell me that is how they remember what I teach them. I can be "Petit Jean qui danse" (Quebec dancing Little John) to teach them body parts or Madame Souzatska, the fortune teller, who predicts their future when learning vocabulary for jobs. I want to be the teacher who encourages them, who stimulates them intellectually and who makes learning French a trip of a lifetime.
